Broomhill Camps Team
Each Camp has a Team Leader who lead a group of well qualified and enthusiastic Coaches. Here’s something about the people your children will be working with.
Rachel Nelson – Camp Leader
Currently an undergraduate student in my third year at the University of Strathclyde studying Sport and Physical Activity. Although I have an avid interest in all sports I am predominantly a netballer; playing competitively for several years at county and club level and coaching for 3 years.
Whilst possessing several coaching qualifications over a broad range of sports I am working towards gaining my UKCC Level 2 for Netball which I hope to have completed later this year.
Kevin Morrison – Camp Leader
I have been coaching for 7 years with a number of groups, camps and clubs throughout Scotland and America. I am qualified up to SFA level 4 Coaching Youth Football as well as having a BA Sports Coaching and Development Degree from the University of West of Scotland. Recently I have also picked up SFA physical Preparation qualification and my Sports First Aid Award.
Having worked with Broomhill, as well as the SFA, Culture and Sport Glasgow, Partick Thistle Pro Youth and Coastal Carolina Soccer Camps, I have worked with age groups ranging from 3 to 18 years olds in many different activities. I love playing sport and in my spare time I take part in Badminton, Football and Athletics.
